Under-estimating a project leads to under-staffing it (which often results in staff burnout), under-scoping the quality assurance effort (running the risk of low quality deliverables), and setting too short a schedule (resulting in loss of credibility since deadlines are missed).
At Belprog we perform comprehensive analysis of client's input information and provide detailed feedback, including:
- identification of the employed resources;
- project plan;
- costs and discounts;
- execution methodology;
- approach to quality control.

The procedure of RFP (Request for Proposal) processing is as follows:
- We analyze the information provided by a client, define points unclear to us and prepare a document with questions.
- The client answers the questions. We analyze the answers, correct our preliminary estimations.
- Finally, if almost everything is clear we prepare a Proposal Package and deliver it as our response to the client.
Usually Proposal Package contains:
- Requirements Matrix - a sheet that shows project requirements structured according to their hierarchy. This document is a basis for further planning and costs drop down.
- Project Plan
- General Proposal document with identification of:
- Project Costs and possible discounts
- Project timeline / Project Plan
- Proposed strategies for execution
- Project Resources involved (we preliminarily plan them through our internal macro-planning system)
- Project risks and mitigation strategies
- Technical vision on the project (architecture, technologies)
